Collaboration in Action - Partnering with Project Crown

At My Big Sis’ Closet, we believe in the power of collaboration to create glimmer moments that empower and inspire, Recently, we had the honor of teaming up with Project Crown and the phenomenal members of Girl Scout Troops 6525 and 70595 to make a tangible difference in the lives of young girls.

These incredible young leaders have been working diligently toward earning their Silver Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout Cadette can achieve. Their project? Creating curly-hair kits designed to help girls embrace, celebrate, and feel confident in their natural curls.

Celebrating Natural Beauty

The Girl Scouts poured their hearts into assembling baskets filled with essential haircare products that boost confidence and self-love. From leave-in conditioners to curl creams and detangling tools, every item was thoughtfully chosen to support natural hair care. The kits aren’t just practical — they send a powerful message: Your natural beauty is something to be proud of.

We were blown away by the creativity, care, and effort put into this project by Girl Scouts Willow, Hunter, and Elle. Their dedication is a testament to what happens when young minds are empowered to lead and create meaningful change in their communities.

A Ripple Effect of Empowerment

Being part of this initiative was a joy and a privilege. At My Big Sis’ Closet, we aim to create moments of connection and confidence for every young girl we meet, and this partnership embodied that spirit perfectly. Seeing the joy and pride on the faces of the Girl Scouts and the recipients of these kits was nothing short of magical.
